The client opted for the drop and cut service, but with savings of $6,500 they were thrilled. The above picture is in Sussex County, it took us two days to take it down, cut it up, and drag the brush in the woods. A few houses down a tree service crew was working with a crane on a similar tree. It took them four days to get the job done, and I'm certain we did ours at a fraction of the price. Our average trim job takes 4 hours. Large trees that are healthy, are trimmed to to help wind pass through them, and to help nutrients reach the top. Branches over the roof are never a good idea, so be sure to get them cut. Branches that are entangled in utility lines also have to be cut. There are many reasons to trim or prune a tree. Trimming helps reduce liability, and loss after storms. Seasonal trimming is recommended for many properties due to safety, and often times aesthetic reasons.
